We needed a brand of fly lines, leaders, and tippet that performed and was durable enough for every day use. With ARC fishing products we never had to question any of that and the anglers that fish with us back it up.
We use ARC99+, ARC Streamer 17, and ARC Bonefish/Redfish exclusively on all our rods and we wouldn't have it any other way! Everyone who has cast our guide rods loves them and the fly line makes all the difference!
We absolutely love this fly line for Tennessee Trout fishing. It has a low stretch core, a permanent Nano PTFE coating, and a low friction grooved profile. They call it ZNG technology, but the anglers that have tried it on our rods just say Wow. For us it just casts further and more accurately than any line we have tried with little effort. It's the perfect line for most 99% of fishing situations, but we like it best for our nymphing and dry fly rods.
ARC Streamer 17
This line is exactly what we needed to send those meaty streamers soaring out of the boat. It is a technical yet easy-to-cast line designed to toss big streamers with ease and get them down to the fishing zone quickly and keep them there. Believe us when we say it does and it does it well! With a powerful 17-foot, 6-7 inch per second (ips) sinking tip and seamless transitions to a floating body is has outstanding casting distance, its easy to mend, and helps you easily control the fly. It also has a 100% polyurethane cover mixed with a super-slick, hydrophobic PTFE fluoropolymer for extended life and superior line float. If you are looking for the perfect line for chunking streamers, trust us, you need this one! When we need a line that gets down this one does it. It also casts like a cannon, but with the precision needed for those tight spots. Basically, if you need a sinking line that's like a precision guidance missile system... THIS IS THE ONE!!!
We needed a line to chunk big flies when we weren’t going for trout or didn’t need a sinking line. We decided to go with this line for that purpose and it has performed beyond our expectations. It was designed for stalking bones, reds and other flats species requires a line that loads rods at close range and front and back tapers that produce great turnover while maintaining stability on longer casts. We use this on our 7 weights when we need to throw topwater or we're not using the streamer 17. It loads fast and delivers beautifully at short and long range shots.
ARC 99 Leaders are made using state of the art equipment and constructed from the highest copolymers available. They have a powerful butt section that seamlessly transitions into the supple tippet taper. This allows for greater energy transfer, resulting in improved accuracy, excellent turnover and life-like fly presentation, and they have excellent abrasion resistance.
ARC's Double Agent tippet is what the gold standard for tippet should be. With a Nylon core and Fluorocarbon coating gives an angler the best of everything. It retains almost 100% of its strength compared to conventional nylon, has superior knot strength, supper smooth finish, and incredible abrasion resistance. We started using this first and it impressed us big time. It's perfect for dries and will cut through on those nymph rigs just as well. Try some, you won't regret it or want to go back to what you were using before!
ARC CAMO ST was completely re-engineered for 2019 and we loved the old stuff. The new ARC Camo ST has an incredibly low visibility camo pattern over a more durable nylon core than before. It is a one of a kind tippet that gives the angler an unmatched combination of strength, stealth, and durability. It's kind of like Frank's Hot Sauce, we use that sh*t on everything.... This is our go to tippet! Its slick and vanishes in that lightly stained water with ease. You can not beat that stealthy approach and durability when used with nymphs, dries, or even streamers! If you are a fly angler in Tennessee and you haven't tried this you have too!
